A major fire broke out at a slum in suburban Bandra in Mumbai on Tuesday night, fire brigade officials said.
Fire Brigade sources said 30 fire tenders have been pressed into service to control the blaze.
The fire was brought under control after three hours, a Mumbai Fire Brigade official said, adding that cooling operations were underway.
